Anger and outrage are boiling over as LGBTQ activists march in New York City’s annual drag queen parade chanting“We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children!”
This message is not only alarming but downright dangerous. Despite the parade being intended to commemorate the Stonewall Riots of 1969 and celebrate gay rights, many people are concerned that this so-called “progress” is actually a step backward. It was appalling enough when members of the LGBTQ group Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence – who mock Christian nuns – were seen at the event.
The fact that some were holding signs reading “Groom Cissies” and “Drag isn’t for Cissies” added insult to injury. Now those same activists have taken their message a step further by claiming they will “convert your children.”
Even if this was simply an attention-seeking stunt, it does nothing less than promote child abuse under the guise of progressivism and acceptance. It also sends a very clear message that these individuals are out to corrupt children with their perverse agenda rather than let them live free from such influences.
This is why Republicans like Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga) have responded by introducing legislation such as The Protect Children’s Innocence Act which would make it a felony to perform any so-called “gender-affirming care” on a minor – something which should never be allowed to happen regardless of political affiliations or beliefs.

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk tweeted, “When they tell you who they are, believe them.”
Attorney Jenna Ellis, formerly of the legal team representing former President Donald Trump, said on Twitter, “Remember that thing they said they totally are not doing?”
Cultural critic James Lindsay said, “Deliberate provocations are deliberately provocative. But they’ve burned through almost all of the goodwill of the people.”
British writer Pat Condell added, “Thanks. That’s all we need to know.”
In July 2021, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus made similar declarations.
The group released a music video titled: “A Message From the Gay Community.” The video begins with one singer announcing, “As we celebrate Pride and progress we’ve made over these past years, there’s still work to be done. So to those of you out there who are still working against equal rights, we have a message for you.”
The song is about the “gay agenda,” and the lyrics declare: “We’ll convert your children.”
The liberal media attempts to paint these protests as harmless fun but it cannot be denied that there is an ulterior motive behind them – one which sees our most vulnerable citizens being exploited, and doing nothing to stop it.
