Ted Cruz Says Biden Travels With Extra Pants In Case He Has An ‘Accident’

On Tuesday, Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) disclosed during Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest event that new precautions have been taken by President Joe Biden’s aides when he travels.

This detail is unlikely to persuade many Americans who are undecided about their support for him in the upcoming election.

“Listen, we have a president of the United States [whose] team carries extra pairs of pants with him when he travels in case he has poopy pants,” Cruz said, as noted in a viral clip posted online.

“Big and stinky if true,” conservative influencer Collin Rugg said in an X post containing the clip.

According to The Western Journal, however, that was only half of Cruz’s statement.

“I want you to pause and think how the enemies of America are feeling,” the senator continued, setting up a punchline for a joke: “Eh, depends.”

Concerns about President Biden’s advanced age – he is the oldest president in history at 81 years old – have been steadily increasing over months as many have observed signs of cognitive decline.

For example, during a press conference in Woodside, California while discussing with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Biden had to be reminded of the name of the CBS News reporter he was instructed to call on. This incident has further provoked speculation regarding his ability to remain in office.

“I’m embarrassed,” Biden said, looking down at cue cards, which he frequently uses. “I think it’s CBS, but I can’t remember who at CBS. And I’m sorry.”

According to a White House transcript, CBS News’ Weijia Jiang reported the news.

The Republican National Committee’s research division recently released a video montage that highlights troubling signs of deteriorating mental capacity in the Commander-in-Chief.

This footage includes numerous examples of Biden stuttering and struggling to form complete sentences, appearing confused and disorientated, and reportedly relying on “cheat sheets” for months at events.

Former President Donald Trump holds a substantial lead over President Joe Biden in five of six battleground states, due to an increase in black voters switching party affiliations and concerns regarding President Biden’s age.

“Trump leads Biden by a whopping 10 points in Nevada, six points in Georgia, five points in both Arizona and Michigan, and four points in Pennsylvania. Biden’s sole lead is in Wisconsin, where he beats Trump by two points,” Fox News reported, citing a New York Times-Siena College poll released earlier this month.

In 2020, Biden won in each of the states which are now combined, but Trump has taken the lead with 48% to Biden’s 44%.

Fox News adds:

The polling attributes Biden’s poor showing to a devastating lack of confidence due to his age. Voters said they trusted Trump to better handle the economy, foreign policy and immigration.

Trump’s performance also came thanks to unprecedented levels of support from black voters, with a record 22% of the demographic siding with him over Biden across the six states, according to NYT.

Trump currently holds a commanding lead in the 2024 Republican Presidential primary, with his closest competitors dozens of points below him.

“The Outlaws” podcast co-host Darvio Morrow took to the X platform to note that, according to the polling data, Trump got 22 percent of the black vote in the poll.

“Black voters — long a bulwark for Democrats and for Mr. Biden — are now registering 22 percent support in these states for Mr. Trump, a level unseen in presidential politics for a Republican in modern times,” he quoted the Times as saying.
