The FBI Vault has recently declassified internal emails exchanged by FBI agents in the days leading up to January 6th. The majority of these communications centered around the planned protests scheduled for that day.
Within the newly disclosed documents, on the 87th page, it was uncovered that FBI special agent Christine O’Neill had sent an email to Stacey R. Moy, who holds the position of Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division.
In this email, O’Neill informed Moy about a significant development in Wiki Leaks Founder Julian Assange’s extradition case: “Just wanted to ensure you were aware of this update – U.K. Court rules that WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange cannot be extradited to the U.S. to face espionage charges.”
Attached to her message was an ABC article reporting on Assange’s trial.
