Well now, this didn’t turn out exactly as planned…
Rev. Al Sharpton went to Chicago to stir up the grassroots groups. He stirred them up all right, but they probably weren’t spouting the talking points he’d expected or hoped for.
Gun violence wasn’t the topic at hand in a full room.
“The manner in which we have been voting needs to change”
“If they have not voted in a manner that is beneficial to you, yours, and your community, then you need to start voting them out.
“Blame the right people, not just white people”
“Name-brand-blue-ribbon-negro-organizations are poverty pimps, and are part of the problem and not the solution.” (referring to NAACP and Urban League).
YIKES! I’m sure that’s not what Rev. Al was expecting. Glad to see the folks living in those communities are speaking up about the destruction left by a corrupt Democrat government. We should all take a cue from them before it’s too late.
