Good news! The U.S. Postal Service has holiday stamps for this year.
A recent ad reminding shoppers to get their holiday stamps shows samples of stamps commemorating Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and … a gingerbread house?
I want to break out in song… “Which one of these things is not like the others? Which of these things just doesn’t belong?”
The stamp of the GREAT Gingerbread-House religion? Is that supposed to be a Christmas stamp?? It has nothing to do with Christmas. Someone in the postal service is confused.
Fortunately, a little tour of the USPS website shows that they do indeed have REAL Christmas stamps. Considering that 75-80% of this nation is Christian and celebrates Christmas, you’d think their marketing company would take that into account.
You can read more about it here.
And purchase your Christmas stamps here! Tell ’em Joe sent you…
