Hawaii’s Department of Education spent nearly $1 million to implement a PILOT sex education program which is now on hold and under review after parents complained.
“Hawaii News Now reports parents were concerned their children in sixth, seventh and eighth grade, were learning to put condoms on dildos and about performing oral sex, vaginal sex, and anal sex.”
So… what should be covered in sex education? Is Pono Choices covering too much? Too early? Or are some things better left to the parents? Do you think there’s actually any discussion about merits of waiting until marriage?
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this one…
