Good news! Not all kids are doing drugs. Some kids snorting candy.
Bad news… that can lead to nasal maggots. You read that right… NASAL MAGGOTS!
I’m sure these kids just thought they’d look cool snorting Smarties through rolled up dollar bills instead of cocaine.
And I’m sure they weren’t mimicking actions they’d seen on TV, movies, and the internet, right? Of course they were!
And yes, when I was a kid you could buy a pack cigarette-shaped gum and pretend to look cool while “smoking”. But that was before we knew how bad it was and pretty much everyone smoked and it wasn’t illegal.
So, why is it “cool” do pretend to do illegal drugs? Is this really what we want our kids aspiring to? Of course not. Time to change the narrative. Pay attention parents!
