PATRIOTIC PRIDE NOT ALLOWED IN SCHOOL

A Colorado high school’s student council proposed holding a day of patriotism to celebrate our great country. They wanted to title it “Merica Monday” and dess in patriotic colors.

Nope. Forget about it. Administrators said NO! I’m not joking. I wish I were. Let that sink in… school administrators thought it was a BAD IDEA to have a student sponsored, student led event to honor the United States of America… because patriotism may make “other people” feel bad.

What have we come to, as a nation, when we can’t celebrate the greatness of the USA and our pride in being citizens?

Do you think they’ll cancel the 4th of July and Memorial Day next?

What about Cinco de Mayo?

You can read more about it here.
