There are rules about taking photos and videos of people in dressing rooms and bathrooms when nude or partially naked. You can’t do it without permission.
But if you’re fully clothed in public and someone takes inappropriate photos of the parts of you that may not be properly covered, it’s OK?
According to a Massachusetts judge, that’s the way it works… at least for now.
After numerous reports of a man taking “upskirt” photos of random women on the subway, the man was arrested and charged. But the judge said no conviction. The law did not apply to that particular action.
Guess the laws of privacy and decency didn’t apply either. The legislature is working feverishly to fix that after this last case.
