It’s been touted as the “world’s first married lesbian threesome,” but that isn’t exactly accurate.
Two of the ladies are married. They live in the great state of Massachusetts. And now they’ve welcomed another lady into their relationship, (as if maintaining one relationship isn’t enough of a challenge). Technically, the 3rd addition is not a legal “marriage,” but it is a legal “contract” that looks and feels like marriage as much as possible without it being defined as marriage.
Relationships with more than one spouse have always been termed “polygamy” (more recently simply “poly”) and are illegal in most, if not all, states, though I have to wonder if anyone is enforcing this law anymore. It’s doubtful.
Well, I’m not going to tell anyone “who they can love” or how many. That’s up to them to work out. Oh, and congratulations on the new arrival… and baby makes 4! I guess they are living the “new American dream”?
