If you’ve ever had a teenager, you can most certainly relate to this story.
A Georgia dad was so sick and tired of his daughter’s messy room that he took drastic measures. He moved her entire room out onto the driveway to try to get her attention. And he didn’t just pile it all out there. He set it up just like it was arranged in her room. That’s a lot of work! (Wonder who will be moving it back into the house?)
He was shocked by all the media attention his action received. Some positive. Some negative. No big shock there.
Every parent is different, and so is every child. What works for one, may or may not work for another. Parents are charged with the sometimes seemingly impossible task of figuring out how to raise their child into a responsible adult. Let’s hope this dad got his message across and she comes out the better for it.
