When I read this story, I almost couldn’t believe my eyes. Jews being required to register with the government or face property seizure and deportation. Certainly it’s a hoax? A cruel joke? Political maneuvering? Maybe. Maybe not. No matter what it is… it’s unconscionable. The world is watching now and we’re on high alert. This is not acceptable for any reason.

Never. Never again would Jews experience the hatred and the atrocities perpetuated against them during the Holocaust as the world stood idly by until millions had died. Or so we thought. Reports are coming out of Ukraine that after a Passover service, Jews were met with fliers requiring them to register with the government.
“Jews emerging from a synagogue say they were handed leaflets that ordered the city’s Jews to provide a list of property they own and pay a registration fee ‘or else have their citizenship revoked, face deportation and see their assets confiscated,’ reported Ynet News, Israel’s largest news website.”
The leaflet begins, “Dear Ukraine citizens of Jewish nationality,” and states that all people of Jewish descent over 16 years old must report to the Commissioner for Nationalities in the Donetsk Regional Administration building and “register.”
