Thanks to Mark Alexander over at Patriot Post for laying out the facts on that dreaded War on Women. The following are a few excerpts, but this article is worth the read and will arm you with facts to be able to shoot down the “War on Women” strawman.
In order to firm up one of his most dependable “grievance” voter constituencies, Obama is baiting ballot hooks with what Demo strategists insist is an irresistible lure for catching a majority of female voters – the “equal pay for equal work” ploy from the phony “war on women”.
Washington Post Fact Checker Glenn Kessler wrote, “Unless women stop getting married and having children, and start abandoning careers in childhood education for naval architecture, this huge gap in wages will almost certainly persist. Democrats thus can keep bringing it up every two years. … [Obama] must acknowledge that average annual wages do not begin to capture what is actually happening in the work force and society.”
As he trolls for the female vote, Obama also conveniently ignores the fact that far more men than women have lost jobs during the “Obama economic recovery,” with millions suffering a 100% reduction of income since this president took office.
