The newest slogan from the Left is “check your privilege” or worse, “check your white privilege.” It’s meant to shut down the conversation and somehow shame people, mostly whites, into silence. For what? For working hard and making something of themselves. Sure, there are some who inherited their money. But Paris Hilton and those like her are few and far between. Most of the people who do well in life, do so because they work at, not because it was handed to them, or because of the color of their skin.
The automatic response to “check your privilege” needs to be “check your racism.”
