Christians Say “No Thanks” to Blasphemous Movies

It’s no big secret. Christians want Hollywood to portray Biblical stories accurately. The Christian audience is a huge market to be tapped, but according to a recent poll (conducted after the recent “Noah” movie controversy), they aren’t willing to just consume anything for the sake of entertainment. In fact, they find movies that take too many artistic liberties with familiar Bible stories to be downright offensive, going so far as to boycott the movie entirely.

Hopefully Hollywood executives have learned their lesson. There are just some things that you don’t mess with when it comes to Christians and their Bible.

Keep an eye out. There are several Bible-based films scheduled for release this year.

You can read more and see the poll here.
