You’re invited to a luncheon in honor of Mexican President Nieto, well, not really YOU, but members of the California Legislature. He’s slated to address our CA Legislature on issues such as immigration and commerce. Do you think he’ll be commenting on our Marine they are holding in prison?
Assemblyman Tim Donnelly doesn’t think Nieto will comment on the Tahmooressi situtation, though he hopes he does. And he doesn’t think it’s right to “break bread” with one of our military members captors, so he’s staged a protest outside the capitol instead of attending the luncheon. You’re welcome to go! He’s encouraging anyone who can attend to do so, and those who can’t to contact Governor Brown (Facebook or Twitter) and ask him to demand Tahmooressi’s release.
It’s time to #FreeOurMarine! Protest is Tuesday, August 25th! See details on the Facebook event page or Assemblyman Tim Donnelly’s website.
