Overwhelming the system. Is that the whole point, or simply the end result? We may never know.
But school districts, like the one in Lynn, MA, are feeling the impact.
Not only are hundreds of students flooding the rolls, but some of these students are clearly adults, and some are well into their 30’s! One has to wonder what a 30-year-old illegal immigrant is doing in high school? What’s the point?
Unfortunately, it’s nearly impossible for officials to know which “children” are not really children. And with Federal policy prohibiting “city officials from inquiring into any child’s immigration or citizenship status and background” it becomes even more difficult to confirm a “child’s” age. If you can’t require a birth certificate or valid driver’s license, how do you really know anyone’s age?
This oughtta keep our children safe at school. Just one more reason to home school.
