Residents in Marshfield, MA are revolting against the local school district who changed “Christmas vacation” to “holiday break” on the official school calendar. It’s a relatively small town of only 25,000 people with approximately 4,000 in the school district.
According to reports, the school district made the change as a result of ONE parent calling the district and making the request. To-date 443 people have signed the petition to change it back.
Do you think the 443 people will outweigh the request of the one parent who complained? Time will tell. What do you think?
