School says it won’t remove praying children painting

In another attempt to wipe all evidence of religion from society, the Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF) has served notice on yet another American school. This time it’s Kenneth Cooper Middle School in Oklahoma that has displayed a painting of 2 children praying in front of an American flag for the last 18 years. The FFRF wants the painting removed. This school is not backing down.

FFRF Attorney Andrew Seidel says of the painting, “The meaning could not be more clear — real American children pray.” Well, I guess that’s one man’s interpretation of it.

How about this one… “Some American children pray, and it’s okay, because in America, it’s a protected freedom to pray if we want to (or not) and to pray to whomever we want to without having to risk literally losing our heads and our life.”

Oh, and one other thing… if you don’t want to pray, no one will make you do that either. There is no “convert or die” in the U.S.A. Thank God!
