Blacks can have “white privilege” too

Good news! Even if you’re black, you too, can have “white privilege.” Apparently, it’s not just for “whites” anymore, at least according to the Huffington Post.

Mia Love made history on Election Night 2014 when she became the first black (Haitian-American), female Republican to be elected to the U.S. House of Representatives (oh, and she’s also a Mormon, making her a trifecta minority!) And yet, one Huffington Post writer maintains that she somehow is misguided and confused in her ideology and therefore is able to benefit from and somehow perpetuate “white privilege.”

…she might look black, but her politics are red. This is one way white privilege is reproduced at the legislative level of government.

You’ll have to read it for yourself to see how hard you have to twist the facts to arrive at that assessment!
