This one, you’re just going to have to read for yourself. It’s shocking. How many American children and families would love to live in the type of luxury these illegal minors are receiving? So many of our own children are living with the bare necessities while our hard-earned tax money (to the tune of $316/day per child!) is used to pay for people who’ve broken the law and disrespected our system to be here.
Illegal immigrant children are getting guitar lessons, an organic vegetable farm, electronic gadgets and a petting farm at a housing facility funded by taxpayers.
Senator Charles Grassley wrote:
“It is disturbing that HHS is funding such expensive facilities despite claiming to be unable to meet basic needs for unaccompanied minors.”
Meanwhile, in Mexico… if an American breaks the law while crossing the border… well, they could end up like Andrew Tahmooressi… imprisoned for 6 months, stripped, and changed to a bed for a month. I doubt he had access to a petting zoo, organic produce, farm-raised fish, or “electronics.”
