Yes folks, we pay to store homeless people’s stuff

If you think the world isn’t completely upside-down and backwards, consider this…

New York City pays to store the belongings of homeless people. Think about it. Let it sink in. Rather than (or perhaps in addition to?) paying for homeless people to have a place to stay, they pay to store their stuff, at an average cost per person of $1,333 to $1,549 per month!

Is this REALLY the best use of taxpayer money to help these folks?
