Thanks to Tami Jackson over at SavingOurFuture for posting this fabulous story and testimony by University of Oregon football coach Scott Frost. Here’s a couple of excerpts, but you’ll have to click here to read the full story.
Coach Frost notes in the interview: “All in means being completely committed to something…it’s very powerful when you can be all in for God first, and then all in for football second. Because then, no matter what happens with football, even if you’re competing for a national title and you lose the game, if you’re all in for God first, your foundation’s on the rock and you’re not going to be shaken.”
…the Frost story reaffirms my belief that sports and coaches can mold and impact young athletes lives in very amazing and positive ways.
