After teens caught in a crime spree of burglary, theft, and criminal trespassing in Kentucky,13 year old Cheyenne Phillips claims she was running from her abusive father.
Phillips and her boyfriend Dalton Hayes (18 years old) were arrested after being caught sleeping in a stolen car in Panama City Beach, Florida.
After authorities spoke with Shawn Philips, he denies any allegations of abuse. Philips claims he’s not upset with Hayes, saying, “boys will be boys.”
What kind of father allows their 13-year-old girl go out with an 18-year-old boy?

Grayson County Sheriff Norman Chaffin told the Associated Press that the abuse allegations are “something they will be talking about when they get back to Kentucky.”
