An American Baptist college wants you to know that not only does it stand behind inviting a lesbian clergy to speak at an event at the college but finds it offensive that Christian seem to “idolize” the bible… How much have they been drinking?
Seriously?
We CHRISTIANS hold the bible in high reverence because it represents the words of God on how to live our lives and how God wants us to honor him. Its not the pages, the cover or the print that’s sacred any more than the American flag being sacred its what it represents.
