Nancy Pelosi says the important thing to remember about Hillary is… she’s a woman… and what we need is a woman president in the White House. Really?! Yes, she really said that. Well, that’s not a direct quote, but it’s the general idea.
No, Nancy. We do not necessarily need a woman president. What we need is a president who has a spine and knows how to lead. Not a community organizer. Being a woman is not a skillset or qualification. Did you say the same thing when Michelle Bachman was running for president? Or Sarah Palin for vice president? I didn’t think so. But either of those 2 would have fit your “qualification” as a woman, so why weren’t you singing their “woman” praises?
Women like you, Nancy, give rational women a bad name. When you go around suggesting that we just need to elect a woman to the presidency, well, it’s just embarrassing.
Sadly, being a woman appears to be the only qualification Hillary has to go on, so I’m sure it won’t be the last time we hear that we need a woman in the White House. But ladies, talk with your friends and spread the word. It’s isn’t a woman thing… this is a save our country thing. And we need the most qualified PERSON in that position, regardless of gender.
