Race isn’t usually something I focus on. But lately, the racial divide in this country has been raised to a fever-pitch and is noticeably in the forefront of nearly every discussion (even when it isn’t relevant!) Except this one…
With the passage of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act in the House of Representatives last week, abortion activists are on high alert as this bill moves to the Senate reiterating their mantra that the Conservative Right has no respect or compassion for women, especially pregnant women.
The Left continues to tell us that social issues (including abortion) have no place on the political stage, while they supposedly continue to champion rights for the poor, minorities, and women.
Yet, amid all this fervor, how is it that there’s NEVER any mention of this…
For the last 10+ years, the woman at the helm of Planned Parenthood is a lovely, high-paid ($500,000+ per year!) WHITE woman, who, based on the numbers, is facilitating the murder of nearly 1/2 of the next generation of black children.
According to the CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION (CDC), by far, black Americans are the ethnic group having the greatest number of abortions. They composed only 12.6 percent of the population in the 2010 census, but a staggering 42% of total abortions in the U.S. for 2008, the latest year in which CDC abortion data were available. The Radiance Foundation in Atlanta, Georgia in early 2010 began a media campaign, “Black Americans are an endangered species,” to drive home the radical and shocking reality—almost half of black children are aborted in the United States.
In the meantime, the Left-leaning media focuses on law-enforcement issues as if it’s the greatest threat to the black community, when, in reality, they are being systematically wiped out from birth!
Let’s just summarize that… a rich, elite, white woman is orchestrating the genocide of nearly half of our black babies, and the Left calls it “respect” and “compassion” for women? How is wiping out 1/2 of a race “respect” or “compassion”?
How does this 1% white woman get a pass from the media, but police officers attempting to serve and protect in life-threatening situations are scrutinized to the nth degree?
And where are the Reverends Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson on this issue? Silent. Shameful.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying anyone SHOULD make a federal case out of this. But given the fact that it seems every news story today is looked at first from a black and white racial perspective, shouldn’t this one too? We all know how important “equality” is.
From where I’m sitting, this rich, white woman running Planned Parenthood is using poor, young, disadvantaged, and black women by convincing them it’s OK to murder their unborn children. All so she can further line her pockets. In what universe does this make sense?
If there’s a #WarOnWomen, it starts with Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards who clearly does not subscribe to the notion that #BlackLivesMatter. Why this isn’t newsworthy is beyond me. It’s just further proof that there really is no “equity” in the arguments on the Left. There’s only an endgame for whatever agenda they are pushing at the moment.
