When the judge “knows” better than 2 licensed professionals (a psychiatrist and psychologist) and overrules their findings, it’s time to be afraid… be VERY afraid!
That’s what happened to Dinesh D’Souza. He’s served his time for violation of federal campaign-finance laws. But the judge isn’t happy with eight months served in a work-release center, five years probation, a $30,000 fine, community service, and the psychological reports stating that he is mentally sound and needs no further counseling.
That’s not good enough for this judge. Nope, he’s giving him 4 more years of weekly community service, weekly psychological counseling, and limited travel. These impositions effectively make it impossible for him to hold a regular job.
U.S. District Judge Richard M. Berman explained at the hearing Monday that his decision to override court-approved psychological evaluations are because of his former training in social-work and the fact that he has a psychology major.
“Therefore, I am ordering Mr. D’Souza to continue psychological counseling with another therapist… Therapy is more of an art than a science, and a new therapist may be what is needed in this case.”
This case should scare the life out of every single American!
Berman is a JUDGE. His job is to interpret and enforce the law, not make psychological evaluations. If judges were supposed to do that, there wouldn’t be court-appointed psychiatrists and psychologists, nor would they need to provide reports to the court about a defendant’s mental well-being.
Judge Berman didn’t like the reports provided by 2 psychological experts, so he’s ordered continued “psychological counseling with another therapist.” Yes… that’s right, ANOTHER therapist, because the other 2 were wrong about their findings.
Let the reprogramming begin.
This is what happens in Obama’s America. If only D’Souza had been an illegal. He would have been free to roam around San Francisco.
But he’s not an illegal alien. He’s a U.S. citizen who speaks boldly against Liberalism, President Obama, and the current Administration. And that’s a recipe for disaster… or retaliation and court-ordered reprogramming, as the case may be.
