Transgenders want to be included in “Body Positivity Movement” to help them feel better and more accepting about themselves. YoungConservatives opines:
Making sure you have a “positive body image” isn’t my responsibility nor the responsibility of any one else. If, as a transgendered person, you claim you’re finally living life the way you were intended to, you shouldn’t need endless affirmation that you’re okay, that what you’re doing is normal.
If you desperately need praise and acceptance from others, then you haven’t accepted yourself and you’re still conflicted about your identity.
No matter how much someone says you’re okay, you won’t believe them, so at the end of the day, the problem is internal and has nothing to do with the rest of us.
