Another horrible shooting of innocents by a madman, another opportunity for the power-hungry fascists posing as American liberals to shred the Second Amendment and push for more gun control. This time, we look to Roseburg, Oregon, where a 26-year-old man killed 9 people at Umpqua Community College on Thursday. Obama’s response? An endorsement of gun laws in Britain and Australia. What is this policy, you ask? Why, it’s nothing short of a flat out confiscation of guns.
From Obama’s statement:
We know that other countries, in response to one mass shooting, have been able to craft laws that almost eliminate mass shootings. Friends of ours, allies of ours — Great Britain, Australia, countries like ours. So we know there are ways to prevent it.
BHO’s decree makes it official: Democrats can no longer claim they are for “common sense gun laws.” They can no longer engage in mockery of people who have long-suspected that they are out to confiscate guns in a conscious effort to undo the Second Amendment. For the longest time, Democrats have pretended to respect the right to keep and bear arms. We have long-believed this was a complete sham and now Obama has unwittingly confirmed it.
The Democrat Party has for at least the last half-century been the defenders and practicers of tyranny in our Republic. They have an undying contempt for our constitution and especially the 2nd Amendment because it guarantees the right to keep and bear arms. And contrary to the modern-day apologists for the anti-gun lobby, that guarantee isn’t in there to protect the right to hunt or even to ward off intruders to your home (even though those are important things). The right to keep and bear arms exists to prevent would-be tyrants from seizing our liberty and doing all the things that led to the first Revolution in the first place.
