A Connecticut parent posted this sign in their neighborhood pleading with their neighbors to accommodate their son who has severe allergies.
“Attention parents: My son has severe allergies and comes home every year devastated that he can’t eat any candy he’s collected at your homes while trick-or-treating, Don’t exclude my child or any other child from the fun.”
They’re asking neighbors not to “exclude” their child. Instead, exclude EVERY child. NEWSFLASH… everyone is NOT the same. People have different issues to deal with. Your child will have to learn this at some point. Now’s as good a time as any. Just because he can’t have nuts doesn’t mean every other child should be denied nuts. Sorry. It’s just part of life.
