This is what it looks like when college kids exercise their 1st Amendment right to free speech in an attempt to squelch someone else’s free speech. College campus wimps can’t handle anyone with a difference of opinion. Instead of conversing, they want people silenced, removed, suspended, or fired. Carol Swain, PhD, professor at Vanderbilt University is getting the full force of this intolerance with a student attempting to ruin her livelihood.
Not only is the student threatening Ms. Swain, but he’s also threatening her website sponsors. Not a good move. Did I mention Dr. Swain is a LAW professor?! And a Christian (gasp!)

Free speech is free speech and is protected on all sides of an issue. It doesn’t guarantee you won’t hate the speech. But hating it doesn’t make it hate speech either!
Kudos to Dr. Swain for standing her ground, both on the Constitution and her Christian beliefs. We’re standing with her. You should too.
