I thought I saw a shooting star on the drive home Saturday night. Nope. According to the news that night, it turned out to be a missile launch. A WHAT?!?!? You read that right… a missile launch…
The unarmed test missile was launched as part of a Demonstration and Shakedown Operations (DASO) from the USS Kentucky, an Ohio Class ballistic missile submarine (SSBN), in the Pacific Test Range off the coast of Southern California.
I don’t even pretend to know what happened to the missile that was launched. I couldn’t help but wonder. I’m assuming is burns up in the air?
Thank God for our military and the steps they take to be ready for whatever may come (should it ever come) our way. Hopefully, their shows of preparedness are enough to deter any who may have designs on harming us.
Never stop praying for our military and the safety of our nation. Prayer works!
