FDR: This is what a President should sound like after an attack

On the 75th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Take a minute to remember

Want to hear what a president is supposed to do when our country is attacked? This is how it should sound…

President Franklin D. Roosevelt speaks on December 8, 1941, the day after the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (not a week or 2 later!) The attack was without provocation and without warning or declaration of war by Japan.

The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor was the largest and most deadly attack on American soil prior to 9/11. History matters, and we must work to preserve it accurately and pass it along to our children and their children.
