Schiff in Big Trouble!

The Democratic-controlled House of Representatives committed political suicide three weeks ago and passed both articles of impeachment — obstruction of Congress and abuse of power — against President Donald Trump.

If House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ever transmits the articles of impeachment to the Republican-controlled Senate, the trial will begin in the upper chamber to determine whether Trump is acquitted or removed from office.

But things took a turn recently when House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff — who has been leading the Democrats impeachment circus — got busted omitting key evidence that was favorable to the president and exonerated him from “quid pro quo” allegations.

Schiff’s committee released parts of the transcript from National Security Council official Tim Morrison, and they purposely left out key information to harm the president.

Breitbart published a report detailing what Democrats omitted:

Morrison’s testimony was rumored to be very good for President Donald Trump’s defense. Republicans would have made good use of it, had they had the transcript available. But it was not provided.

Schiff does not allow copies of the transcripts to be released to Republicans, either in paper or electronic form. If they want to read transcripts, they must do so one by one, in the presence of a Democrat committee staffer.

In the Morrison case, Democrats released “key excerpts” that highlighted the few facts in his testimony that, they believe, help push the case for impeachment.

Chief among these is that Morrison confirmed that he heard U.S. Ambassador to the E.U. Gordon Sondland claim that he told a Ukrainian official, in a private “sidebar” meeting, that aid would be released if the Ukrainian prosecutor general would publicly announce an investigation into Burisma.

But that is just hearsay evidence, as is Morrison’s confirmation of Charge d’affairs William Taylor’s testimony (repeated in public last week) that Sondland, after speaking to President Trump, “there was no quid pro quo, but President Zelensky must announce the opening of the investigations and he should want to do it.”

Schiff purposely left out key quotes from Morrison that made Trump look good.

Morrison testified that he listened to Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky.

Morrison said the president did not discuss anything illegal during the conversation.

Schiff cherry-picked what Morrison had said and claimed he confirmed that Trump threatened to withhold Ukraine’s aid unless they investigated Biden.
