A lover scorned? One of Donald Trump’s former personal attorneys is not only predicting that the former president will be indicted, but declared that “they’re going to indict the whole pig.”
On Monday, former Trump attorney Michael Cohen appeared on MSNBC’s “Deadline” and discussed how Manhattan district prosecutors are convening a grand jury for a criminal probe into the alleged hush money payment from Trump to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016.
Cohen said of his congressional testimony, “There was more than a dozen investigations that were spurred as a direct result of that testimony. Whether it is the New York attorney general and again, I thank our unsinkable Attorney General, Letitia James, for acknowledging my participation. Fourteen times I met with the district attorney. I spoke to eight different congressional committees, I spoke to eight times to different congressional committees. That’s a lot of testimony. Hundreds and hundreds of hours worth of it. My hope, like the hope of so many people in America, is this man is held to account for what he is responsible for.”
He added, “Donald Trump needs to be held accountable. You know, there’s the expression with the grand jury that they could indict ham a sandwich. Well, in this case, I think they’re going to indict the whole pig.”

Cohen is starting to sound like the boy who cried wolf, as he has made several claims that Trump will be indicted “soon.”
In September 2022, he told MSNBC’s Joy Reid that Trump would be indicted for crimes related to mishandling classified documents.
Cohen stated, “I do think there’s going to be an indictment and relatively soon. I believe there will also be congressional hearings with Donald in the hot seat where, you know, either he’ll come in willingly, which I don’t think he will or via subpoena. I mean, the real questions that they have to be asking right now is, you know, where are the documents that were in the empty top secret files that were found at Mar-a-Lago? I mean, that’s really the big question, and who did Donald give them to or show them to.”
In November 2021, Cohen predicted that “Trump and his adult children will be indicted.”
In May 2021, he asserted that indictments would be issued against senior leaders in the Trump Organization “within the next 30 to 60 days.”
Cohen declared, “I do truly believe that the wheels of justice turn slowly, but they are turning. I believe Trump, for the first time in his entire life, is going to be held responsible for his own dirty deeds. I believe that as a result of that, you are going to see the tentacles of this investigation move into each and every one of the kids, move into Rudy Giuliani, it is going move into so many others, Allen Weisselberg, to Barry Weisselberg, to Jack Weisselberg. I think that there is a multitude of indictments that are going to be coming, and they are going to be coming relatively soon. And when I mean, soon, I mean before summer.”
Sounds like his prediction box is broken. Maybe he should just stick to defending his clients.
