The recent actions of NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley have not gone unnoticed by conservatives. Over the weekend, while attending a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, California, Barkley made several statements that were seen as supporting trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney and embracing Bud Light.
His comments did not sit well with many conservative viewers who criticized him for his remarks.
Barkley was spotted Friday and Saturday night giving speeches to bar attendees and telling them he was going to buy them America’s most infamous beer – Bud Light.
A TikTok user captured his comments on Friday night wherein he used profanities and said that anyone who had a problem with Mulvaney or other woke LGBTQ individuals can go screw themselves:
“I want y’all to drink this f***ing beer. I want y’all to drink this f***ing beer. I got three cases of Bud Light. Hey, and I want to say this: if you’re gay, bless you. If you’re transgender, bless you. If you have a problem with that, f*** you!”
On Saturday night, he continued his rant against those boycotting Bud Light, saying “All you rednecks or a**holes who don’t want to drink Bud Light, f*** y’all!

Hey, y’all can’t cancel me.” He even dropped a racial slur in for good measure which further ignited the outrage from conservatives including Mark Levin who tweeted “Embarrassing. I used to like this guy. Not anymore.”

Other Twitter users also chimed in expressing their displeasure at Barkley’s words and sentiments – some called him “a piece of s***” while others said they quit watching the NBA because of it – showing just how much impact one person’s opinion can have on an entire population’s behavior or beliefs about something else entirely unrelated such as sports entertainment versus politics/social issues/values etc.
