On Sunday at the United States Penitentiary Coleman in Florida, Larry Nassar, former doctor of the USA gymnastics team was stabbed by an unknown assailant.
Nassar sexually abused over 265 victims as well as an infinite number of additional victims yet to be identified. Nassar pleaded guilty to multiple counts of sexual abuse and was sentenced up to 175 years.
He received stab wounds on his back and chest and is currently receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital. He is reported to be in stable condition with no life-threatening injuries.

Disgraced sports doctor Larry Nassar, who was convicted of sexually abusing female gymnasts, was stabbed multiple times during an altercation with another incarcerated person at a federal prison in Florida.
Two people familiar with the matter told The Associated Press the attack happened Sunday at United States Penitentiary Coleman in Florida. The people said he was in stable condition Monday.
One of the people said he had been stabbed in the back and in the chest.
