The Biden Regime is seeking to restrict water heaters and other appliances by 2029, as recently confirmed by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
This proposed regulation seeks to reduce emissions related to climate change. However, it will come at a cost for many American households who may be required to replace their current appliances with more energy-efficient models.
When initially asked about the reports of targeting gas stoves, dishwashers, and heaters, the Biden Regime pushed back. However, on Monday Jean-Pierre admitted that the proposed regulations are set to go into effect in 2029 if enacted.
Prompted further with questions about how many home appliances Americans can expect to have replaced as a result of these regulations, Jean-Pierre clarified that this regulation would affect every appliance in the home if enacted.

A reporter asked KJP how many more home appliances will Americans have to replace because of regulations.
“So from this administration, we’ve seen them go after gas stoves, air conditioning units and regulate refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, now water heaters. How many more home appliances will Americans eventually have to replace them because of regulations?” a reporter asked KJP.

This hair-brained scheme comes at a huge cost—both financially and emotionally—for many Americans who may already be struggling under financial burdens caused by government-enforced COVID-19 lockdowns or other economic issues facing our nation inflicted by other ridiculous Bide administration policies.
According to research conducted by Consumer Reports in 2020, replacing even just one major appliance can easily exceed $2K on average, depending on which appliance needs replacing and its age/energy efficiency rating, costs could range anywhere between $1K-$5K per item.
For households living paycheck-to-paycheck or already dealing with mounting debt due to lost wages or job insecurity during the plandemic crisis economy period, this could pose yet another serious challenge beyond their means right now—especially when considering most Americans have multiple large appliances throughout their homes.
Factor in any additional labor costs associated with installation too & things only get worse…
Immediately replacing ALL your appliances overnight just because some government mandate said so without warning seems insane.
Biden must also consider how he’ll actually make sure everyone complies since enforcement can prove difficult regardless, after all simply forcing people into compliance via fines isn’t really an option here either since most folks don’t have extra thousands lying around just ready & waiting like that either…
