Shocking Footage Shows Officer Efficiently Taking Down Mass Shooter

On May 6th, 2021, tragedy struck the Allen Premium Outlets mall in Texas. A 33-year-old gunman opened fire and murdered eight people, including three children.

Ten more were injured in the shooting.

‘The shooter would have likely killed many more innocent victims if it wasn’t for an Allen Police officer who acted without hesitation to neutralize the threat. The Allen Police Department released body camera footage from the incident on Wednesday following a grand jury’s determination that the officer’s use of force was justified under Texas law.

In his statement about the video release, Police Chief Brian Harvey said, “This video shows how quickly a routine interaction with the public turned into a life-and-death situation. The officer recognized the danger, ran toward the gunfire and neutralized the threat – and for his actions, the Allen community is forever grateful.”

The unnamed police officer had been addressing two young children in a mall parking lot when he heard gunshots ring out in quick succession moments later.

He instructed them to follow their mother’s guidance and make sure they wore their seatbelts while driving before running off to find and confront the shooter with rifle in hand.

He radioed his fellow officers that there was an active shooter at the mall as he ran full speed through its parking lot towards where he believed shots were coming from—all while instructing nearby passersby to flee for safety.

His body cam footage captured him announcing “I’m by Tommy Hilfiger” as he searched frantically for any sign of movement or sound of gunfire from within an arcade area near where bystanders had taken cover from stray bullets flying around them mere seconds earlier.

It wasn’t long before another barrage alerted him to exactly where his target was located; instinctively knowing what he must do next, he rushed forward and fired off around 14 well placed shots at close range until finally reaching his desired result: “I got him down!”

He then instructed bullet riddled corpse of perpetrator not to move with clear disdain seething through every word uttered over radio waves back to other officers present on scene:

“Damn bro…got ’em bro…stay the f***down.”

Upon further investigation it was revealed that this heavily armed suspect had three weapons on his person and five more stored away inside his vehicle – though thankfully none were used due to the swift intervention of a courageous police officer who risked himself without question or reservation in order save lives of strangers – all thanks largely due presence of mind maintained even under most extreme circumstances imaginable.

On Monday, the Texas Rangers and Collin County District Attorney’s office presented evidence to a grand jury regarding the officer’s use of force. Following an extensive review of footage and other information, it was determined that the officer had acted in accordance with his training and was cleared of any wrongdoing.

Craig Miller, a retired Dallas ISD police chief noted,

“His actions were unbelievable, the way that he was able to respond… He’s doing exactly what he’s trained. He’s asking for backup.”

The victims of this tragic mass shooting were James Cho (age 3), Sofia Mendoza (age 8), Daniel Mendoza (age 11), Christian LaCour (age 20), Aishwarya Thatikonda (age 27), Elio Cumana-Rivas (age 32), Cindy Cho (age 35) and Kyu Song Cho (age 37).
