Car Crashes Into Arizona Salon, Narrowly Missing Man Standing Within A Few Feet

Video footage of a terrifying incident in Chandler, Arizona has gone viral, showing the moment an elderly woman lost control of her gold Lexus sedan and sent it flying into the front of Beastly Beauty Waxing.

The man standing nearby was only a few feet away from being crushed.

On Saturday afternoon, a man had a close brush with tragedy as an out-of-control vehicle careened into the front of a salon.

Surveillance footage shows that the crash caused shelves along the wall to collapse, and hairdresser Ashley Upton described to AZ Family what it was like when the car plowed into the store. “Hearing that loud noise, you don’t know where it’s coming from,” she remarked. Fortunately, no one was harmed in this incident.

Upton commented on the near-fatal incident involving an elderly woman’s car careening into a beauty salon, saying, “I can’t even imagine the fear that was going on in their minds at that moment.”

Chandler Police Department reported that impairment did not appear to be a factor in the crash.

The Lexus had damaged another vehicle before crashing into the building, leading its owner to believe it was a hit-and-run initially.

Police reported that a woman sustained a minor leg injury in a car accident. No other injuries were reported, according to law enforcement officials.

Upton commented on the situation, stating, “I am grateful that no one was seriously hurt in the crash and that I escaped with only minor wounds.”
