Former Vice President Pence recently received significant criticism online after a video of him at a gas station went viral.
In the video, he appears to be filling the tank of a pickup truck while also voicing his disapproval of President Joe Biden’s administration.
“Remember $2 gallon gas? I do,” Pence, a former Indiana governor and GOP congressman, said into the camera as he worked the pump. “And then Joe Biden became president of the United States and launched his war on energy.”
The video, which has been viewed over a million times, was created to promote the energy independence plan of an individual.
Unfortunately, it faced ridicule from many on social media due to a beeping sound in the background that suggested that filling the tank may not have been genuine.
“How can this dipstick fix our energy independence when he can’t even push the button that chooses which octane gas he wants to make the ‘beeping’ sound stop?!” tweeted comedian Rob Schneider.

“Has he never pumped his own gas before?” political commentator Steven Crowder added.
“You forgot to select the fuel type, that is why it is beeping in the background. An easy mistake to make if you have lived in a bubble your whole life,” another user wrote.
“Mike Pence shows he doesn’t know how to pump gas in his new commercial… He never selects a grade and the pump keeps beeping… It’s about as cringe as you’d imagine,” Tim Young added.
“Mike Pence doesn’t know how to pump gas much less fix America’s energy issues. Pick the octane Mike. The beeping will stop,” Chad Prather said.
Vice President Mike Pence’s campaign announced this week that he has satisfied the criteria necessary to participate in the first Republican primary debate, moderated by Fox News and set to take place later this month in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Reports surfaced on Tuesday that prior to January 6, 2021, then-Vice President Pence claims he had taken “contemporaneous notes” of various conversations he held with former President Donald Trump, as revealed in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s indictment against Mr. Trump.
President Trump has been accused of four federal crimes in relation to his actions following the 2020 presidential election, as well as allegations that the election was rigged.
The ridiculous accusations levied against Trump involve conspiring to defraud the United States, obstructing an official investigation, attempting to obstruct an investigation, and conspiring against rights.
