Technology mogul and entrepreneur Elon Musk followed through on his promise to visit the U.S.-Mexico border, where an illegal migrant and drug-smuggling crisis has been unfolding since the commencement of the Biden administration.
During his visit, he broadcasted live footage of himself dialoguing with federal and local officials about the ongoing crises. Moreover, Congressman Tony Gonzales (R-Texas) accompanied Musk to tour the area since it is within his congressional district.
“Musk, who owns Tesla, SpaceX and X, has shown significant interest in the ongoing crisis along the border and has been posting about it frequently on his social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter,” Fox News reported, adding that Musk spoke with Gonzales on Tuesday who described the situation as a “serious issue.”

On Thursday, Elon Musk arrived at the border and began live-streaming. During his broadcast, he informed viewers that he had planned to talk with officials and assess the situation in order to obtain a first-hand account of what was occurring.
“This is real-time, unfiltered,” he said. “What you see is what I see.”
Musk, having immigrated himself, declared his staunch support for immigration policies which permit honest individuals to enter the U.S. legally; however, he also asserted that control of the border is essential.
Musk has recently become more involved in political issues, including engaging in a Twitter Spaces debate with Alex Soros, the son of business and political activist George Soros, shortly after his father transferred him control of his $25 billion empire last month.
The Tesla and SpaceX founder and CEO additionally expressed worries about an influx of migrants into American cities at such levels that local social services would be unable to keep up with the demand, which is currently occurring in New York City.
“If @AlexanderSoros is serious about freedom of speech, then we have common ground,” Musk said. “But destroying public safety by electing DAs who won’t prosecute violent criminals needs to stop.”
George Soros, through his various Marxist-oriented non-profit groups, has poured millions of dollars into local district attorney races to elect far-left candidates whose “criminal justice reform” measures essentially amount to a commitment to stop prosecuting dozens of crimes under the phony guise of ‘combatting racism.’
As a result, in many of the country’s largest cities – all of which have been under Democratic governance for years – there has been an increase in crime and violence. Critics of Soros argue that this was his intended outcome, with the goal of implementing political and policy changes.

Left-wing ‘journalist’ Brian Krassenstein replied to Musk, “I agree that public safety is incredibly important. From what I have read from Soros himself, his initiatives are not to make society less safe but to forgo the prosecution of some addicts and those suffering from mental health ailments and instead get them the help they need to recover or get treated appropriately.
“O[f] course one can argue that the DAs he supported have failed but I wouldn’t necessarily jump to the conclusion that his actions are evil,” he added.
Musk replied: “Maybe we should do a Spaces with you, me & Alex to air this out.”
According to a recent Fox News report, Alex Soros, Democrat megadonor, has frequented the Biden White House on at least 17 occasions. The purpose of these visits is unclear.
“The younger Soros, who chairs the board of directors for his father’s Open Society Foundations network, has now visited the White House at least 17 times since 2021, according to a Fox News Digital review of visitor logs,” the outlet reported earlier this month.
“Alex’s most recent visits include three meetings between February 8th and 10th, records released Tuesday show.
The visitor logs list Jon Finer, the principal deputy national security adviser; Jordan Finkelstein, special assistant to the president and the chief of staff for senior Biden adviser Anita Dunn; and Mariana Adame, the adviser to the counselor of the president, as the individuals who greeted Alex,” the report continued.
“It remains unclear precisely who Alex may have met with for the sessions, as the records can contain White House staff who book appointments, meet the guests and take them to other personnel,” Fox News Digital added.
