Fox News reported that a major razor company has been met with criticism from conservative social media users after featuring an image of a transgender model with double mastectomy scars in its promotional materials.
Braun, the German consumer products company known for their electric shavers and razors, was found to have posted the photograph on its website.
At first glance, the image appears to show a male model shaving. Upon further inspection, however, viewers can identify a woman who has undergone a controversial double mastectomy procedure.
The scars are visible on her chest area, making it evident that she has taken drastic measures in pursuit of an altered physical appearance. Braun Series X Hybrid Trimmer was featured in the advertisement.
A Proctor and Gamble spokesperson had the temerity to tell Fox News that the troubling image depicted “real Braun” customers, a statement that some conservative journalists have found disconcerting.
This is one of hundreds of images on our site showing people using our products—all of which are reflective of the consumers we serve.
Conservatives expressed their shock and dismay at the offensive image, insisting that Braun should face consequences similar to those of Bud Light.

Maya Forstater, the executive director of activist group Sex Matters, expressed her concern for Braun in a statement to The Telegraph. She warned that this move could become one of the most contentious medical controversies.
Braun executives must have been living under a rock if they think that this campaign represents ‘inclusivity.’ The reality is that Braun has now written itself into history as promoting social contagion and what will become one of the most notorious medical scandals.
