A federal judge has granted permission for a lawsuit brought by America First Legal in 2022 to proceed, alleging that the Biden administration was aware of payments made to the Palestinian Authority which provided support to terrorist groups.

“Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk, of the Northern District of Texas, found Tuesday that AFL’s ‘recent production of records shows that the Government knew its economic support fund (ESF) funding in the West Bank and Gaza was benefiting Palestinian terrorists, thereby “increasing the risk of terrorist attacks against the Plaintiffs and others similarly situated,” according to Fox News.
“And they aver that the Government’s ‘admission that its activities in the West Bank and Gaza benefit Hamas suggests, with reasonable particularity, the possible existence of other facts, currently hidden, establishing traceability,’” the order read.

“Now, in the aftermath of Hamas’s barbaric terrorist atrocities that have killed at least 22 Americans and at least 1200 other innocent men, women, and children, and with an unknown number of Americans now being held hostage in Gaza, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas granted AFL’s motion to begin discovery in our case,” the AFL wrote on X.
“America First Legal believes the evidence obtained from the documents and from the face-to-face depositions of high-ranking officials under oath, will confirm that the Biden Administration knowingly and directly increased the risk of harm faced by our clients, and by other innocent Israelis and Americans at the hands of Palestinian terrorists,” it added.

“On Saturday, Hamas launched a multi-pronged, surprise attack. Crossing the border into several towns in Southern Israel, Hamas fighters kidnapped and killed more than 1,000 Israelis,” USA Today noted.
“They now hold at least 150 hostages, including some U.S. citizens, and have threatened an execution each time Israeli forces attack civilians in Gaza without warning,” it continued.
It is yet to be determined when the lawsuit in the case against the Biden administration will proceed, however, it has been approved to do so.
The gravity of this matter has become more pronounced following the fatal attacks perpetrated on Israeli soil which have resulted in the fatalities of over a dozen Americans.
As such, the Biden administration must present legitimate and satisfactory answers to these allegations, particularly after Hamas’ recent offensive in Gaza.
