Two US officials have informed CBS News that Israel has initiated a substantial incursion that appears to be a “rolling start” to the ground invasion aiming to completely eliminate Hamas.
In addition, US officials have divulged to CBS that the assault will take place in stages and not as one single ground operation.

Israeli forces have conducted a significant incursion into Gaza over the past two hours, according to Axios political reporter Barak Ravid in an exclusive interview with CNN.
Thousands of soldiers have already been reported to have stormed in from the north.

In addition to the ground activity, Israeli forces have launched heavy airstrikes on Gaza within the past few hours.

Millions of people in Gaza previously found their internet activity cut off, the reasons for which remain unknown at this time.
However, a possible connection to the current incursion may be present.

This act by Israel could be viewed as a clear indication of disapproval towards the United Nations.
The organization passed a resolution demanding a ceasefire which was sponsored by multiple Arab nations.
