Former President Bill Clinton’s office has responded to the reports that he will be named in the Jeffrey Epstein court documents set to be unsealed this week.
“Hundreds of sealed court filings pertaining to the late sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein are set to be made public this week, and several prominent names — including Britain’s Prince Andrew and former President Bill Clinton — are expected to appear in the documents.” ABC News reported.
According to reports, Bill Clinton is identified as “Doe 36” in over fifty redacted filings.
“Former President Clinton, who ABC News has learned is identified as “Doe 36,” is mentioned in more than fifty of the redacted filings, according to court records. Several of those sealed or redacted entries are focused on an effort by Giuffre’s lawyers in mid-2016, first reported by ABC News, to subpoena the two-term Democratic president for deposition testimony about his relationship with Epstein.” the outlet reported.
In a statement from Clinton’s office, Angel Urena reiterated that “President Clinton has never been accused of any wrongdoing” about Epstein’s crimes and that the former president “did not object to the unsealing.”
Urena reported that during 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took four trips on Jeffrey Epstein’s airplane: one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa. These trips were connected with the work of the Clinton Foundation and included staff members, supporters of the foundation, as well as his Secret Service detail.
Additionally, there was one meeting held between Clinton and Epstein at his Harlem office in 2002, followed by a brief visit to Epstein’s New York apartment with a staff member and security detail.
Bill Clinton had a close relationship with Epstein and reportedly flew on his private jet, dubbed the ‘Lolita Express’, more than two dozen times.
Pilot logs indicate that there were underage teenagers present on these flights alongside Clinton.

Just last month, it was reported that many of Jeffrey Epstein’s high-profile associates may face a New Year’s surprise as they could be named in court documents set to be released in early 2024.
Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz was identified by name prior to an ABC report on Bill Clinton; however, Judge Loretta Preska has stayed her order which allows attorneys representing the “Does” time to convince the court to keep names under seal, making it uncertain if the public will ever see the full Epstein client list.
An individual claimed they saw Bill Clinton and “2 young girls” at Epstein’s island in the Caribbean; however, this was denied by Clinton’s spokesperson.
On February 27, 2023, an interested party whose identity had been sealed by the court due to their association with Jeffrey Epstein filed an appeal, requesting that the Court of Appeals deny the brief.
On August 2019, Mr. Epstein was found deceased in his cell from hanging himself utilizing a prison bedsheet wrapped around his neck and secured to the top bunk bed.
