Nathan Wade, the romantic partner of Fulton County DA Fani Willis, requested a protective order following a judge’s unsealing of his divorce records.
Jocelyn Wade, Nathan’s estranged wife, contested to have their divorce records unsealed and made accessible to the public.
A Cobb County judge granted a motion to unseal the divorce records of top Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade on Monday.
In addition, Judge Henry R. Thompson recently temporarily halted Fani Willis’ deposition. Willis had previously attempted to block the subpoena and was scheduled to give her deposition on Tuesday.
Jocelyn Wade’s attorney told the judge last Monday that her client wants Fani Willis’ deposition *not as a Fulton County DA* but as “the alleged paramour of my client’s husband.”
“I have questions and she needs to answer them,” Jocelyn Wade’s lawyer said in blistering remarks to the judge last week.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, it has been reported that Fani Willis had an inappropriate romantic relationship with Nathan Wade, a top prosecutor in her office who she hired to pursue charges against President Trump.
The report suggests that Willis received financial benefits from this relationship, including luxury vacations to Napa Valley and a Caribbean cruise, which were allegedly funded by Fulton County.
In August, Willis filed RICO and conspiracy charges against President Trump and 18 others related to their challenge of the 2020 election.
A motion has now been filed on behalf of defendant Michael Roman, a former Trump campaign official involved in the case, seeking the dismissal of his charges and disqualification of Willis, Wade, and everyone in the district attorney’s office from the RICO case against Trump.
“County records show that Wade, who has played a prominent role in the election interference case, has been paid nearly $654,000 in legal fees since January 2022. The DA authorizes his compensation.” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The court filing included the credit card statements of Nathan Wade, provided by Jocelyn Wade.
Nathan Wade made various expenses for Fani Willis, including purchasing flowers, covering hotel expenses, air travel costs, booking a cruise, and paying for Ubers.
The bank statements serve as evidence that Nathan Wade paid for Fani Willis’ flights to Miami and San Francisco.
