Comedian Kathy Griffin recently took to her social media platforms, posting a video and pleading with fans to purchase tickets for her upcoming comedy tour as she expressed concern over slow ticket sales.
“It’s all about the tour, man. Just freaking get me to opening night in Des Moines. And Omaha is not selling well. First of all, there’s not enough people there,” the anti-Trump comedian said.
(Both Iowa and Nebraska voted heavily in favor of then-President Donald Trump in the 2020 election.)
“I need comedy fans to come out and see me in Kansas City. Come on! I need sell-outs. I’ve been through hell. I’ve been through so much crap since my last tour. I actually just have to laugh at it. I just have to laugh.”

Griffin teased that her upcoming tour will feature jokes centered around former President Donald Trump’s legal dispute with E. Jean Carroll, implying a connection to her close friendship with Carroll as seen in their Instagram photos.
Recently, Griffin made headlines for filing for divorce from Randy Bick, her husband. In addition, she openly shared that she had undergone lip “tattooing,” resulting in noticeable swelling.
The comedian has been vocal about experiencing PTSD due to the intense public backlash following a controversial photo shoot where she posed with a replica of then-President Donald Trump’s severed head covered in blood.
