DA Bragg’s Office Accused Of Deleting Critical Phone Records Between Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen

In his efforts to prosecute former President Donald Trump, District Attorney Alvin Bragg has faced several significant setbacks in the past week.

A paralegal from Bragg’s office recently testified that certain phone call records between Michael Cohen and Stephanie Clifford’s lawyer (also known as Stormy Daniels) had been deleted.

This deletion of records presents evidentiary challenges for Bragg’s team, which Trump’s lawyers wasted no time in capitalizing on.

This revelation coincided with Stormy Daniels’ controversial testimony, which some legal experts believe actually benefited Trump’s defense in the ongoing trial.

During questioning by Trump lawyer Emil Bove, Paralegal Jaden Jarmel-Schneider, who is employed in Bragg’s office, acknowledged that approximately three pages of phone records had been deleted.

The outlet noted:

Mr. Jarmel-Schneider confirmed some deletions. He acknowledged that some phone call records from 2018 between Mr. Cohen and Keith Davidson (Ms. Clifford’s lawyer) had been deleted, along with some records of conversations between Ms. Clifford’s manager Gina Rodriguez and then-National Enquirer editor Dylan Howard about Ms. Clifford’s claim that she had an affair with President Trump.

The paralegal reacted defensively to Bove’s assertion that the deletions were “significant,” arguing that the description was inaccurate.

Trump’s defense team emphasized a crucial point: the prosecutors presented phone records as evidence without informing Trump’s lawyers about the deleted records, casting doubt on the evidence’s credibility.

It is likely that if the roles were reversed, the prosecution would have a serious concern about undisclosed deleted records.

Donald Trump Jr. was quick to highlight that if the situation were reversed, Bragg’s office would have been in turmoil.

“It is a felony. We have no department of justice. Not under this corrupt regime,” one X user wrote.

The deletion of crucial phone call records between key individuals involved in the case has presented evidentiary challenges for Bragg’s team,.

Stormy Daniels’ controversial testimony further complicated matters, with some legal experts suggesting it inadvertently benefited Trump’s defense.

The acknowledgment of deleted records by Paralegal Jaden Jarmel-Schneider during questioning raised questions about the credibility of the evidence presented by the prosecution.
